OVERVIEW
The Kumho Road Venture AT51 is an all season, all terrain tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. Kumho offers a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.
The tire’s dual silicone compound helps to reduce the rolling resistance. This makes the model more environmentally friendly as the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are lowered. The vehicle uses less energy and, thanks to this, its tread wear rate slows down as well. The slower wear rate and the even wear on the tread area are thanks to the tire compound, which maintains the tire’s shape and prevents irregular wear. The tread life lasts longer because of this, making it more cost efficient.
This all season tire offers superb all weather traction, including in lower temperatures. The special tread pattern and the tire compound enhance its grip and stability in severe weather conditions. The tread grooves help eliminate water and slush from beneath the tire’s footprint, enhancing its anti-hydroplaning resistance. This makes the tire safer to use in all weather conditions.
The tire has excellent all terrain traction as well. Even on loose or soft surfaces, the tire grips the road well and conquers all uneven terrains. Thanks to the special large tread blocks in the tread pattern, the tire maintains its traction and road grip on all surfaces. It performs well both on- and off-road and has great traction in mud and snow, making it a versatile tire.
The large tread blocks in the tread pattern of the Road Venture AT51 help clean out snow and mud from between the tread, increasing its all weather and all terrain traction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
