Pre-WWII Arrow Style Turn Signals By Yell-O-Lite Restored from NOS Components
The hooded faces, housings, bulb socket and flex wire jacket are all original. The mounting brackets, yellow lenses and internal reflective shields are near exact reproductions. The housings and hooded faces have been cleaned and powder coated w/semi-glass black paint. All the threaded fasteners are 18-8 stainless steel and new 6V bulbs have been installed along with period correct cloth jacketed wire. These lamps were located, in pieces, wrapped in 1939 newspaper so have sat dormant for over 80 years. Original advertising was located and a brief magazine article indicate they were designed for installation on late'20s thru '30s autos & light trucks. This is probably the only pre-WWII turn signal available in as new condition. Major discount for purchase of multiple units. Faces can be removed and inverted for mounting w/ mounting brackets up. Price is for one right & one left as a pair. Light housings are approx. 2-3/8" x 4-1/2" & less then 2" deep, not including hood.
This came from a recent customer: I received the arrow lights. They look like they'll work out fine on my old 1928 Chevrolet. Mounting 1928 Packard style accessory Triple lights for use as taillights, brake and backup. So mounting these just about 1" below them on a J shaped tube that drops down from the Triple light stand. Working out rather well. Thanks for selling such nice lights.
