This laser cut aluminum mounting tray is specifically designed for the Honda CX500C and CX500D models.
It is compatible with the 1979, 1980, 1981, and 1982 model years.
No welding. Everything is bolted and screwed securely to the frame. The tray slides under the CDI unit and is bolted down at that location. Can be mounted from above frame under the CDI or below the frame completely. Depending on your build situation. The two rear mounts on the plate can be sheet metal screwed into the frame with predrilled holes.
