Beingoffered for sale today is a pair of "FAKE" Side Exhaust Pipes with CoversTheseare Vintage Custom parts from the 60'sFrom my research I have not been able to learn who the manufacturer was, but I didlearn that George Barris used these Side Pipes on some of his Custom Cars. The most well knownCustom being the 1967 SXBBarracuda(see 2nd to last photo)Each Side is made up of 3 Cast Aluminumpieces: the Front Pipe, Finned Cover and the Rear Exiting PipeTheSide Exhaust Pipes measure 60 1/2” overall length and the Covers are 4 3/8”tallThe Finned Center Sections are painted a Dull CastAluminum and the 2 End Pipes have been painted a Chrome SilverBothSides are in excellent used condition. A few of the Covers Raised Fins have some nicks and light bends, nothing major - justwanted to mention this - shown in photo's
