This adapter allows you to install the new O-Ring style larger port GM LS3 LS9 (3 bar) MAP sensor to LS1 LS2 LS6 LS7and TBSS intake manifolds that uses the 1 and 2 bar sensors smaller port grommet style without modifications to your factory manifold.
This adapter latches in place using the manifolds factory clip design and the LS3 style sensor screws into the adapter for a secure connection. This adapters design uses O-Rings for a positive seal to the manifold eliminating the factory grommet.
This Adapter is a new design machined from solid Delrin and has a new feature to be able to be rotated 360 deg and still be latched in place. Simple installation requiring only to push down into the manifold until adapter is latched in place (you will feel it click when property latched).
In this listing you are getting the adapter, O-Ring for the manifold side, stainless steel button head mounting screw for the new style MAP sensor and retaining clip for TBSS applications. MAP sensor not included (shown for reference only).
I recommend using GM MAP sensor part # 12592525 with these settings: linear = 312.5 kPa / offset = -11.25 kPa. This is a reliable 3 bar MAP sensor that is capable of up to 30lb of boost, however this adapter is not limited to only this specific sensor.
