What Does T304 Mean?T304 is the grade of Stainless Steel. T304 is corrosion resistant, can be polished to a bright finish, and is reliable in all conditions. Other grades are 409 which has a much longer life span than Mild Steel but will eventually rust. Your OE exhaust is likely to be made from 409 Stainless Steel. There is also 316 which is used in the food and marine industry.
