The Ironhead IDR310SP is a highway terrain, all weather tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is designed for drive axles.
The optimal tread design and the special all weather compound offer great performance in versatile weather conditions. In this manner, the ribbed tread design maintains the road contact, while the compound blend keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. This enables the tire to safely perform in dry, wet, and winter conditions. At the same time, this tread pattern and rubber compound can easily handle ice- and snow-covered roads. The tire also prevents hydroplaning, by dispersing water and slush from the footprint.
The model promotes great controllability. The ribbed tread design can maintain close road contact, which enhances steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The outer ribs and the large tread blocks upgrade the cornering ability. They enable the driver to have full control over the vehicle, promoting a safe driving experience.
The Ironhead IDR310SP also boosts load and driving durability. The strengthened internal structure and the strong rubber compound keep the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it is able to carry and withstand heavy loads. This load capacity makes this model an excellent choice for commercial vehicles.
All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
