Here we have a little known, rarely seen, hard to find original factory spare tire lock as listed on page 11 of the 1973 Ford Mustang dealer sales brochure (see picture). According to the brochure it came in a protection group along with door edge guards &bodyside moldings or floor mats. It may have also been offered withthe Cougar. It will fit earlier models including 1968 1969 1970 1971 &1972 Torino Lincoln Galaxie etc. since these also used the 1/2"-13 size spare tire hold down bolt. The part is in perfect working condition and comes complete with oneoriginal styleFord 'small hole"key. This is a great conversation piece at car shows. Bring your sales brochure to prove it's authenticity.
