I designed and made this kit in 2018 and have been selling it ever since. This kit allows you to install dual AVCS cylinders heads in a single AVCS engine configuration or non-AVCS engine configuration without leaving the exhaust AVCS solenoid bodies and exhaust camshaft sensor in place as just oil plugs. If you buy brand new head casting or bare used castings, you will need to source the OEM cam sensors and OEM exhaust AVCS solenoid bodies even if you don't need them to be functional. This is a waste of your money as the OEM parts are not cheap. This kit is a cleaner look and cheaper than OEM parts.
PRODUCT NOTES
- The plates have grooves machined to feed oil from the head oil gallery to the #1 exhaust cam journal. Installing a flat plate cuts off oil flow and causes oil starvation of the #1 exhaust cam journal.
- The camshaft sensor plug is made to be universal for both left and right exhaust position AND can also be used as an intake cam sensor plug similar to the IAG product IAG-ENG-2060BK.
