Perfect Black OEM/Factory Dodge Viper Wheels
This listing is for a set of four (4) gloss Black genuineDodge Viper 17 inch wheels.
This is a really great classic design for the Gen 1 Viper that ran in just 1996 1997 and 1998 though they'll fit all 1992 through 1998 Viper models (RT/10 and GTS). To this day, it looks much better than the 80's techno-future 3-spoke wheel style that debuted on the Viper.
Originally, this design began on the early-released GTS coupe, in either painted silver or polished finish. From there, it was available in white (on white 1996 RT/10's), yellow (on red RT/10's - dubbed the McDonald's cars because they looked like McDonald's ketchup and mustard on a cheeseburger), and I can't remember the third colorway. Perhaps it was this Black though more than likely it was also the silver for the RT/10.
This particular set has been painstakingly refinished. The faces are gloss Black and the lips are machined. Pictures could be better but any deviation you feel that you may see in them is a reflection, dust, smudge or glare. The Black powdercoat is 100% perfect and the wheels appear as-new. Wheels have not been mounted since their completion, and they really look amazing. Guaranteed to be round, true and free of leaks.
Why did we even make this set? I've been wanting to re-create the 1995 RT/10 that I had 20-something years ago which had these wheels on it, but can't find the time or the space for the car. We're upside-down on the cost of this particular set but we're going to let them go at a loss. Most wheels that we sell are because it's our business but this was to be my own personal set.
SIZE: Two rims are 17" x 10" for the front, other two are 17" x 13".
VALUE: Wheels are no longer available from Dodge. When they were available they were $1800 apiece while the center caps were over $100 each.
