The common failure point for the upper radiator hose is simply the plastic fitting that is inline for the coolant return from the turbocharger. A poor design from the factory to handle such extremetemperatures, the plastic fitting is poor quality and can\'t take the heat and pressure.
This fitting is billet aluminumwith a threaded brass insert for the turbo coolant return. We have these installed on over 600+ vehicles with ZERO issues. The assembly is fullyanodizedso there are no issues with your coolant reacting with the aluminum (your engine block andcylinderhead are aluminum as well).
