The item listed is a sports sound, aftermarket, valvetronic full exhausts system to fit Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 and 570. This precision-engineered stainless steel valved exhaust system reduces the weight of your Gallardo and improves torque and horsepower, both as a result of weight reduction as well as a sportier, freer flowing system by comparison to OE through use of specialised chambered silencers. Direct fit and lifetime guaranteed, made in the UK.
Fitment: Lamborghini Gallardo 5.2, LP560 and LP570 models including Spyder.
Our valvetronic system includes opening and closing valves which is controlled by the vehicle ECU (engine control unit), therefore working the same way that the original exhaust was designed to function. We've extracted additional power through improved gas-flow dynamics and a drop in back pressure. To complement our muffler design, we've added our well-known exhaust valve system to create a virtual symphony from the large displacement V10. At lower engine speeds and during cruise operation the valves are closed and produce a deeper and sharper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle the valves open, releasing the full fury of the engine. We can also include a remote kit to control the valves manually by key fob upon request.
The noise from this system is similar to the OE (original exhaust) but is a more aggressive sports sound with the valves open. At lower engine speeds and during cruise operation the valves are closed and produce a deeper and sharper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle the valves open, releasing the full fury of the engine. Its incredible to witness the before and after difference and is sure to leave you grinning while your Gallardo is finally unleashed to sound like the supercar it is!
