This is the best internal insert available. Our PVC inserts offer many different features that may not be apparent. Our inserts are machined to fit the wheel very well. This feature keeps the insert in proper position to aid in balancing. They are machined to allow you to air down without damaging your tires. We machine them to fit the exact tire you are running which will do many great things for you. PVC inserts go inside your tire and allow you to air down and run low air pressure with the Hummer Double Bead Lock Wheel. With the PVC insert installed (inside the tire) both inside and outside beads are pinched between the insert and the wheel making them double bead locks. They also keep the tire from spinning on the wheel. In stock form H1 Wheels had what are called run flats. Run flats go inside the tire and served 2 purposes. They made the wheel a double bead lock while at the same time allowed the humvee to maintain it’s original height so the soldier could drive out of combat. This is great while at war but not when you want to air down to play off road. The stock run flat will tear up the inside of your tires over time. There are a lot of people that cut the stock run flats down,(cut the profile off of them), we offer those in a separate auction. This is where the PVC inserts comes into play. They are already machined to be perfect. It makes the wheel a double bead lock without the profile of a stock run flat. PVC inserts are custom cut for width but work with many different tires. Larger tires may require a custom width to work properly since the bead thickness on the tires is greater. Please include the desired tire you plan to run and we will cut the inserts to fit properly.The best upgrade over stock run flats is the weight savings. These inserts weigh ~12 pounds.
