09 Tahoe hybrid.Pay attention to your maf sensor.i didn't and had to cut the pipe and add a 4" coupler, took all of 5 mins tho and was my fault. Over all it's a solid kit for the price. The clamps seem to be the only thing I'm worried about over time due to quality.

    Good for the Money

    I put this on a 2010 sierra in about an hour. My mechanical experience is novice, but it's not hard to do. I had to make a bit of a cut on the heat shield to get it to mount using the existing bolts. Overall, everything appears to be good quality. Very small improvement in throttle response, but just put it on so no details on MPG improvement yet. I wouldn't bother paying extra for the name brands. This does exactly what a K and N does. If you really wanted to, purchase this system and add just the K and N filter to it since the name brand filter probably does a bit better job. Happy with it overall so far though.

    Poor fitment

    The provided heat shiled did not fit, the hood would not close, had to modify the shield by cutting the entire top by 3.5in just to get my hood shut. A simple installation was made into a much more difficult job. Also no instructions at all.

    The gmc seirra intake

    The gmc seirra 4inch intake, is nice fit perfect once I figured out how to put it togother, but the clamps (band clamps) are cheap n all of them broke so I had to buy new ones from my local parts store, but other than that everything went good looks n sounds good thanks

    Great product at a Great price!!

    I did NOT have to trim my heat shield. I tried to install without removing the steel plate the factory air box clipped on to and it would not fit but after removing the other two bolts and taking the steel mounting out completely.....which seems like it allows more air flow as well, everything fit perfect without any trimming to heat shield. Would highly recommend. Thanks again.

    Not bad..

    I saw a lot of comments that people had to do a lot of trimming to get hood to close. I had one tiny area to trim to get heat shield to sit flush in the tray. (See pic). Cut easily with tin snips. The factory bolts that are used to secure the heat shield are very short. The heat shield needs to be 100% flat in the tray area to thread the bolts. Install took about 30-40 min. Looks good, sounds good!
