Price for this device was best I found. You do have to upgrade your system prior to installing. I found information on a Mazda247 forum. The software took about 30mins to update. Install of the hub can be lengthy. The shortcut route is tight but doable, else a lot of console to take apart. Side note, while driving Mazda does not allow the touch screen function. Just a heads up. It’s not the Android Auto, it’s the security itself.

It requires some confidence in the installation as you'll be removing some interior parts to access the display unit and routing wires to where the (new) module is housed. Once installed, it provides access to apps that were not previously available. The ability to upgrade the entire infotainment system at minimal cost can only add to the overall "in car" experience. A worthwhile investment.
