Chevy Coil Packs
I would have rated this product a five, but I did have a pretty serious issue. The product was of good quality, but when I installed them the truck actually ran worse. Computer diagnostics read Multiple Random Misfires along all cylinders. After deciding to remove them and reinstall my old ones, I looked very close at the springs located inside of the rubber boots that connect to the spark plugs. Close inspection revealed that the springs on the new coils were approximately 1/2 inch shorter and were not making good contact with the plugs. I pulled the old springs off and put them on the new coils, buttoned everything up and the engine purred like a kitten. I would buy this product again, but you can bet next time I’ll look a lot closer and make sure it’s exactly the way I need it before I ... The coils didn’t work.
I purchased the ignition coils. I changed the spark plugs and installed the coils. Service engine light still flashing. Eventually I had to put it in the shop for them to tell me that one of the ignition coil’s wasn’t working so I have to still end up purchasing another ignition coil which ran me twice as much as but the set of six Cost.
