They look awesome! After reading some reviews about elongating the holes for the head, I checked mine and yes they will need modified. This doesn't really distract from the fact that these are some really nice headers. Flanges at the head are a full 3/8" thick. Tubing was described as being 1 1/2" but they are 1 5/8 " which is what I would rather have any way. Great product.

Bought these headers for an '87 GMC Jimmy, 4WD, 5.7L. They fit very well; no space issues with the starter nor shift linkage. You will have to do some slight modification, which is expected with installing any headers. I had to enlarge a few flange bolt holes to match up better and "massage" one of the headers (I think nr 3) to clear the driver side mounting bracket. The headers and collectors are stainless steel, and the flanges are painted steel. Gaskets are good. The welds are good.

Very nice finish
I would have given 5 stars but i had to dremel the left and right bolt holes on both sides to make them fit the heads properly. The holes were off a bit. Otherwise the stainless finish was great.

C10 small block headers
This product is not for the unskilled hobbiest. There is some knowledge and skill needed to install them. The drilled holes are not perfect and the tubes hit the motor mounts and frame rails. The quality and price out weight the bit of work needed to install. But I beginner would be lost and give up.

Motor mount
Must have motor set back on rear holes for the motor mounts or headers will not fit. Very close to starter may have heating issues. Most trucks used the front holes for motor mounts so unless you want to move motor back and cut drive shaft these headers will not work for you I wish I would have known this because I wouldn’t have bought them! I guess I’m stuck with them now!

I am happy to say that these headers certainly look to be well made, and appeal to the eye. Once my engine is up and running, I hope to be able to say the same thing. I did have to open up the holes on #1,2,7,8 which I believe is pretty much normal. Only minimal grinding, took about 5 mins.
