Too small to fit OE Muffler
This strap is about 4" too short to wrap around the Original Equipment muffler, but it will fit 3rd party (Walker) replacement mufflers. However, it can be adapted to the OEM but replacing the short bolt with a 5/16 dia, 6" long threaded bolt, and slightly bending the flanges so that the bolt stretches across the 4" gap. It may take a bit of bending to get the threads to catch, but after gently tightening the nut, you can take up almost 2" of thread on the bolt when it tightens around the OEM.This strap is about 4" too short to wrap around the Original Equipment muffler, but it will fit 3rd party (Walker) replacement mufflers. Saturn SL muffler strap
Strap worked fine you just have to use a 5 To 6 inch long bolt to fit the strap around a the oem muffler. It will work with the longer bolt.

Will not fit a stock muffler.
The description is not clear that this muffler strap will only fit on a Walker aftermarket muffler. I am unwilling to modify it and try to use a 6" bolt and the hassle that introduces.
