This part "fit like a glove" on my 2 1/4" exhaust pipe. I am very happy with the way the flex pipe slid onto my exhaust pipe. I did a little bit of grinding on my pipe and the flex pipe slid on by 1 1/5 inches. I think I will have a very good seal. This is a good product I would definately buy again.
