Additional Information

Density Altitude corrected time: 14.988 seconds @ 93.491 mph. (DA: 5,741 feet.) Driver is original owner of Special Factory Order 1974 Dodge Charger SE, WP29U4Gxxxxxx. All available heavy duty, performance and luxury options were ordered. The original 440HP engine has been rebuilt, blueprinted and balanced by Dick Landy Industries and was dyno'd at 431 h.p. @ 5,400 rpm, 481 ft.-lbs. @ 4,000 rpm. It retains the numbers-matching RB block, original forged crankshaft and heavy duty "Six Pack" connecting rods. The Mopar Performance Stage V heads, with 2.18-inch intake and 1.81-inch exhaust valves, were ported, polished and cc'd by DLI. Transmission by CRC. This car's heavy weight, power accessories, high rear axle gear ratio, and the Iso-Clamp rear leaf spring mounting make this Charger less than ideal drag car. Time trial conducted with full fuel tank (19.5 gallons). Weighed at 4,458 pounds, with driver and full fuel. Estimated top speed @ 5,500 rpm is 133 mph.
